The strategic decisions that you participate in shape the direction and success of your organization. The ability to make effective critical decisions is a valuable and crucial skill that helps make managers, executives, and corporate leaders indispensable. Quality decisions that result in cost, time, and resource savings will benefit the company and your career.
The Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate program provides participants the advanced skills needed to execute business strategies effectively. The program consists of a curriculum of noncredit short courses and combines Stanford University's academic and research depth with the decision and risk management expertise and track record of Strategic Decisions Group (SDG).
Participants have the flexibility of taking individual courses within the program or earning the Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate by completing the two required courses and four electives.
Courses may be taken in any order and any method of instruction - on-line, at Stanford, or at work.
Participants requiring a Stanford University transcript will need to register for Continuing Education Units (CEU's). Transcripts are mailed by the Continuing Studies department and take approximately 6 weeks from course completion.
The Stanford Center for Professional Development is a Registered Education Provider for the
Project Managment Institute (PMI). Professional Development Units (PDUs) may be earned for each course taken as part of the Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Program to maintain certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP®).
